HORRAY FOR LILY

Lily went Best of Breed at the Pioneer Valley Kennel Club in August.  We are so proud of our girl. Thank you to judge Michael Faulkner and Lily's handler Candy Carswell. Lily now has 5 points towards her championship.

2011 Fun With Lily

Lily won her second point toward her championship in April at the Pioneer Valley Kennel Club dog show, going WB. We are now planning which shows to participate in this spring and summer.

Lily and I have had so much fun together in 2011.  In January we participated in the American Flushing Spaniel Club show in King of Prussia, PA and Lily did very well, placing second in her class (9-12 months). It was the first overnight show for Lily and the first time at such a large show.  She loved everyone she met and got lots and lots of hugs!

In April we participated in the Welsh Springer Spaniel National show in Harrisburg, PA.  There were about 130 welshies participating and it was wonderful to see so many of them in one location. I was very proud of Lily and she placed second in her class.

 Such a tired girl at the end of the day. But the next day she was ready to go back in the ring again.

Lily Won Her First Point

On Saturday at the Albany Kennel Club's dog show in West Springfield, MA, Lily won her first point towards her championship from the 6-9 month old puppy class. Hooray for our Lily.  This was the second show she has participated in. 

This coming weekend Lily will be showing on both Saturday and Sunday, so tonight we are going to breed handling class to practice some more.

Oh, We Sure Love Our Lily

Lily is almost 7 months old and she is full of life and love. She is so excited everytime she sees us, even if we have only been out of her sight for 5 minutes.  Such love one can never tire of.  

Lily's First Show

Lily participated in her first dog show Sunday and did very well.  She loved being in the ring and enjoyed all of the attention she received. Lily won her class and then went reserve winners bitch, so she went home with 2 ribbons. Thank you to judge Madeleine Fish for making Lily's first ring experience a good one.

Sunday Night At Lexi's Grace

It's amazing how much alike mother and daughter are.  Last night they both enjoyed their rawhide sticks together.  The house was nice and quiet!

Lily's  First  Match

Last night Lily was in her first match, which was sponsored by the Pioneer Valley Kennel Club. This was her first time in the ring and she had a wonderful time, so I was very pleased.  Lily was especially happy when the judge came over to "go over her", her tail never stopped wagging. She was not very impressed with the ribbon but was very excited about the stuffed bunny they gave her.

Lily also made friends with 2 field spaniel puppies.  It's good for her to play with puppies her own age.  We have planned another play date for next week.

 Lily

Lily - Lexi's Grace Liberty Bell is the newest member of Lexi's Grace Welsh Springer Spaniels.  She is a member of the Liberty litter and was born on March 9, 2010. I knew they would be a special litter, as they were born on my parents anniversary, and they are.

Last night Lily graduated from Puppy Kindergarten.  She was the youngest in the class by several weeks and it was a very good learning experience for her. We are constantly exposing her to new experiences, so she will be a confident and happy welshie puppy.

What could be more beautiful than a welshie in the garden 

Lily is just like her mother and loves to cuddle.

Lily loves to play outside.  This morning Lexi was at the office so I had to be Lily's playmate.  As  you can guess, I enjoyed the job.
